I’m a Tennessee native, having lived most of my life in rural areas surrounding Chattanooga, Cleveland and Dayton. I attended Laurelbrook Academy during my high school years and after graduation attended Southern Adventist University. At Southern I sang for four years with “Die Meistersinger” male chorus, and in 1994 I traveled with the group to the Middle East. We toured Israel, Jordan and Greece, singing at many churches and historic sites such as Petra, Athens and Jerusalem. In 1993 I joined The Emmanuel Quartet, an acappella Southern Gospel group. Over the last 25+ years we’ve toured all over the U.S. and have visited Canada, the Philippines, Guam and Indonesia. I’m blessed that music is such a big part of my life and I’m humbled to be able spread the gospel to people everywhere through music.

I graduated from SAU in 1996 and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Education. I'm endorsed to teach 6-12 Technology and Engineering. I taught Bible classes and computer literacy at Laurelbrook Academy for two years and have worked as an information technology manager for several years. I’m beginning my fifth year at Covenant Academy and will be teaching High School STEM and Latin. My lovely wife Charity and I live out in the country in Rock Island with our dog, three cats, and a host of wild outdoor critters.
