My name is Lori Darden and I am teaching second grade at Covenant this year alongside Mrs. Hayley Lawrence. I am new to Covenant and already feel at home. I have four years of teaching experience. I spent two years at North Coffee Elementary teaching second grade and two years teaching Pre-K at First Steps Christian Preschool. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Education from Tennessee Tech University and have also spent some time substituting for Coffee County Schools. 

When I'm not working I enjoy spending time with my family.  My husband and I have been together for 21 years and married for 14.  We have two amazing children, Cadence (11) and Connor (8).  My husband is a trainer for Terminix and the preacher of our church, The Bushy Branch House of Prayer in our hometown of Manchester. I am a co-leader of my daughter's Girl Scout troop that recently took a trip to Dollywood.  Our son has started football this year and we are looking forward to watching his games on Saturdays.

I believe that together we can make this a wonderful year. I'm looking forward to helping your child reach their potential.
